Our Team

Richard is the Managing director of Castlemead with overall responsibility for the Bridgwater and Bristol offices. He is also lead director of the firm's Information Technology practice.

Richard's area of expertise is in corporate insurance and risk management and his client base covers a wide range of industries including aerospace, construction / M&E, information technology, transportation and retail sectors.

Richard qualified as a Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in 2005 becoming Managing Director in 2006. 

Nick advises owner managed businesses specialising in providing proactive advice and assistance to rapidly growing organisations. His portfolio of clients spans a wide range of industries from product suppliers (import, wholesale and distribution) to service providers (IT maintenance and support, motor traders).

Nick is also responsible for providing compliance advice and audit services to all clients regulated by the Financial Services Authority ("FSA").

He is head of health and safety advice services following his obtaining NEBOSH certification in 2001.

Nick joined Castlemead in 1999 and qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) in 2001.

Having previously worked for three other firms of insurance broker and an insurance company, Clive is the lead director of the firm’s Construction practice. Clive has worked in the industry for over 25 years, he has many long standing clients ranging from individuals to companies with over 500 employees. Clive holds regular tool box talks for his clients in the construction, charity, manufacturing and professional sectors, he very much adopts a hands on approach when dealing with their affairs.
Geography seems to be of no consequence as Clive has clients in the four corners of the UK ranging from Edinburgh to Cornwall, London to Swansea and everywhere in between! Clive joined Castlemead in 1998 and achieved a Diploma in Insurance (Dip CII) in 2008.

Rachael is the Financial Director at Castlemead, with overall responsibility for the Finance and HR departments. 

She joined Castlemead in 2006, with previous career history as Financial Director of a commercial property development company.

Rachael qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) in 1996 with Solomon Hare Chartered Accountants and was later awarded a fellowship (FCCA) in 2001.
